We have room for 60 participants. We would love for Kiwanis clubs all over the I-I District to Sponsor a scholarship, or two! The curriculum and presenter are from Kiwanis International. This program helps the participants understand what they can do to change the world around them. It has been a huge benefit to students in the past and helped them to grow as a leader and a community servant.

We have a goal of $12,000.00 to make this event available to 60 future leaders. Will you be a part of the solution? Please consider selecting students from your community to attend and sponsor each at the suggested amount of $250.00. If your club chooses not to select a student to send, we have also set up an Outreach Fund to provide scholarships to help assist students without a sponsor. A check of any amount may be payable to I-I Kiwanis (memo line Key Leader) and mailed to the District Office at 2416 E. Washington Street, Suite B-2, Bloomington, IL 61704.

Key Leader, a Kiwanis International program, gives high school students an opportunity to experience personal development, growth and fellowship—the cornerstones of Kiwanis and its high school service program, Key Club.*

During their three days at a Key Leader weekend, students age 14 to 18 explore new ideas, accomplish exciting challenges and build enduring friendships in a safe, supportive environment.

Being a Key Leader is all about achieving excellence and becoming a true leader—at home, at school, in the community and in the world.

Find out how you can get involved in Key Leader, whether you’re a student, sponsor, parent, educator or Kiwanis-club member.

*It’s not necessary to be a member of Kiwanis or Key Club to participate in Key Leader.
